The Eltron P420 plastic card printer is highly versatile, and designed for high volume
printing of dual-sided plastic cards in color. It is ideal for applications requiring production
of full-color 2-sided plastic cards. Use the P420 card printer to print:

The P420's rugged, all metal enclosure houses a low-maintenance print
mechanism that includes self-cleaning card handling, high capacity
ribbon system, two-line LCD control panel, and convenient card reject
hopper. The reject hopper separates cards that fail encoding prior to
printing, saving valuable printer ribbon. The enclosure includes a viewing
window to monitor the printing process without opening the unit.
Transparent input and output hoppers provide visual card capacity status.
The new P420's advanced features include a 32-bit processor, 4 Mbytes of
image memory, and 512Kbytes of Flash memory

The Eltron P420 prints sharp, readable bar codes, ID photos, graphics and
text, edge-to-edge, in seconds. That means you can issue personalized
cards on the spot. Its space-saving design is the perfect choice for desktop
and countertop applications.

Installation of the P420 is plug-and-play out of the box using the Microsoft™ Windows™
drivers making it simple to set up and use. Free basic WindCard™ card design utilities
are provided with each unit. In addition, the P420 offers several options including;
RS232C serial and USB ports, a "non-scratching" magnetic stripe encoder,
and smart card contact station for applications that require encoded cards. The unit's handy
reject card hopper prevents improperly encoded cards from being printed.

is automatic, eliminating the need for operator intervention. A
